Ashley Smith is the Program Manager for the Office for Dispute Resolution (ODR). Ms. Smith is a graduate of Millersville University (B.S.E. Secondary Education) and California University of Pennsylvania (M.Ed). Prior to joining ODR, Ms. Smith was a public school teacher in Pennsylvania. She brings a wealth of experience in education to her role. Before becoming Program Manager, Ms. Smith served as a ConsultLine Specialist with ODR. This role allowed her to develop a deeper understanding of special education regulations and conflict resolution skills, enabling her to effectively manage dispute resolution services. Her passion for working at ODR stems from her experiences as a mother of a young child with a disability and her commitment to creating solutions that effectively address and resolve conflicts. Outside of her work at ODR, Ms. Smith enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and son, listening to podcasts, and borrowing a mountain of books from her local library.
